In a touching story about finding your place in the world as well as finding a home, a young girl is forced to do this all on her own until a kind family (unable to have children of their own) brings her in, but when she loses their prized dog (who she loves) to thieves who aim to sell it to a rival dog owner, this young girl heads out on an adventure which will change everyone she knows.
