A wildfire growing out of control threatens a sanctuary for exotic animals run by two sisters, Carol and Ballad. Ballad engages her boyfriend Kennedy and his team of firefighters and "smokejumpers" to create a break line ahead of the fire hoping to save their animals from a growing inferno. They make a startling discovery: the fire was started by corporate thugs who want the land. Tension mounts as Ballad and Kennedy rush to stop the ruthless developers, prove their guilt, and save the animals from the wildfire.
