When 14 year-old Angel, an undocumented Latino, loses his older brother to the US Military in order to gain naturalization for the family, he turns to a local street gang for brotherhood and guidance through life in the ghetto. As his world becomes increasingly violent, life-altering lies are exposed ensuring that his family will never be the same.
